It's time to swing into action! The course is re-open

We're super happy that the Government have confirmed that Golf Courses will be able to open as part of the first step of the roadmap to lifting lockdown restrictions. You are now able to play fourball golf.

Belhus Park Golf Club is a par-69 golf course that is nestled over 46 acres of stunning parkland and scenery and is a great challenge for all levels of golfer. The course offers a 'forward tee' initiative which makes the course into a 1,300 yard or 1,900 yard 9-hole golf course. This makes it the perfect venue for the beginner or novice golfer.

The Golf Course also features an open style front nine which allows the golfer to get off to a good start. The back nine features tree lined golf holes, which will prove to be more of a test, even for the more experienced golfer. The final hole is a 477-yard par-5 that will allow the golfer to be aggressive and should lead to a pleasing finish to an enjoyable round of golf.

For the health & safety of our staff and members we ask that all golf tee times must be pre-booked in advance; this is to help with the Governments social distancing rules.

Please note that the Driving Range will re-open fromMonday 12th April 2021.

As of Monday 29th March, your Golf Season Ticket membership will be automatically unfrozen. You do not need to do anything; we will unfreeze your membership for you. Due to the Government allowing the Golf Course to re-open part way through the month, adjustments will be made to your next direct debit which may result in your direct debit being slightly higher or lower than usual.

You should receive an email from Debit Finance Collections (DFC), who are our payment partner for collections with your adjusted price on prior to your direct debit being taken.

For those who wish to continue to freeze their membership, we have made this easy for you to do: simply freeze your membership via our my payments portal. You can do this on the app or by clicking here. Alternatively, you can contact DFC  directly on This email address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it. or on 01908 422007.

To continue to freeze your membership, you MUST have contacted DFC or completed the my payments form by no later than 3pm on Friday 19th March.

If your upfront membership is due to expire after our re-opening date, then your membership will be extended by the number days we were closed. If your membership was due to expire during our closure period, your end date will be extended by the number of days you had left on your membership when we closed.

All members that hold a Platinum Country or Platinum membership with a golf bolt-on will remain frozen until the leisure centres are allowed to re-open as part of step 2 of the Government’s lockdown roadmap (12th April, at the earliest). We can assure you that no member will be out of pocket, and any payments made prior to our closure, will be honoured once the leisure centre’s re-open.

However, if you wish to play Golf during this period (29th March - 12th April), we are offering you a temporary unlimited Golf membership at the one off price of £23.50. If you wish to sign up for this temporary Golf membership, please email us at This email address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it. including your full name, phone number and address and we will be in touch with more information. You must have emailed by 5pm on Thursday 18th March to start your temporary membership.

We have good news and some not so good news! Due to the recent drier, sunnier weather coupled with the limited playing period the course has had, most of the greens and fairways are in good condition. Hopefully, with the temperature warming up soon, they will be back in fantastic condition, as always. That's the good news.

The not so good news is...due to the government closure, which meant the course was not played on and after experiencing an extremely mild and wet Autumn/Winter, we like many Golf Courses across the country have seen as unprecedented infestation of Crane fly (daddy long legs to you and I) larvae called 'leatherjackets'. The Larvae attacks the roots of the grass weakening the blades, they are also a favoured source of food for Crows who dig for the larvae which has led to damage on parts of the course around several of the greens.

We have taken specialist advice on how to best control, treat and repair the affected areas. We are pleased to say our Green Keepers have done an AMAZING job and worked extremely hard to get these areas playable for you at the start of this new season. So please thank them as you go round as it was touch and go if this was possible. However, we do also ask you bear with us whilst these repairs take place to return the course back to the very high standards you are used to.

Golf Bookings - Dishonour Booking Policy

Due to the increase in golf bookings we experienced when we re-opened the course after the first lockdown, we have implemented a new policy for golf bookigns for Golf Season Ticket holders and Platinum Country Members. Please note, our dishonour booking policy does not apply to pay & play users, but we ask that you notify us with plenty of time if you are going to be late for your tee off time or need to cancel your booked round.

To ensure that all of our golfers are able to book tee off times of their choosing, we have made the decision to implement a dishonour booking charge of £1 should you not adhere to any of the following booking rules:

  • Not attending a booked round
  • Cancelling your round less than 1 hour prior to your tee off time
  • Turning up more than 5 minutes late to your tee off time

If you are going to be late or need to cancel your booking last minute please cancel your booking via our app or online booking platform. You can also call: (01708) 854260

As a Golf member you will receive a £1 dishonour booking charge and this will temporarily stop your booking priveleges until the charge has been paid. You can pay the charge at the clubhouse or over the phone.

If you are using the App you will be displayed with a blank screen when on the bookings calendar or you may receive an error message that reads 'unpaid sales'. If you are using our online booking platform you will be shown an error message when attempting to book. You will also be able to see your dishonour charge in 'my basket'

You can pay the charge at the clubhouse or over the phone.

The dishonour fee paid will be used to support our charitable projects, including Save a Babies Life Courses, Grub Club and our Exercise on Referral Schemes. This will allow us to continue providing these essential services to our local community.
