Impulse Leisure Host Royal British Legion Dinner & Dance

Impulse Leisure hosted the Royal British Legion (Armed Forces Charity) Dinner & Dance event to celebrate the Grays British Legion’s 100th birthday and the delayed 75th anniversary of VE Day. It was a very special evening that celebrated exceptional achievements whilst respectfully honouring our longest reigning Queen.

The RBL Dinner & Dance event took place at Impulse Leisure - Civic Hall in Grays. Almost 200 people from the community attended the commemorative event, celebrating along with dignitaries and veterans for a 2-course meal and a 20-piece brass band that made the event all the more special.

The centenary dinner and dance event went ahead to honour and respect Queen Elizabeth II, whilst also celebrating key milestones for the Royal British Legion including the 100th birthday and the 75th anniversary of VE Day. Money was also raised for the Poppy Appeal through a fundraising activity.
