Impulse Leisure Give a Gift Helps Spread the Joy of Christmas to Vulnerable Children in Thurrock

Impulse Leisure was delighted to donate 130 Christmas gifts to some of Thurrock's most in-need children.

Collected via the Trust's Give a Gift initiative, which celebrated its eigth year in 2023, customers of Impulse Leisure were encouraged to bring in gifts.

Give a Gift strives to provide presents to countless Thurrock children identified by their children's services teams, who may otherwise receive minimal or no gifts during the holiday season. While Christmas is a special time for everyone, it holds a unique enchantment for children, and ensuring that no child in Thurrock misses out on the joy due to circumstances beyond their control is a cause close to the hearts of the team at Impulse Leisure.

Karl Hayes, Managing Director of Impulse Leisure, expressed his delight, saying, "Witnessing the dedication and care our staff and members poured into this gift drive has been truly heartwarming. We take immense pride in the success of the campaign. Being a charitable trust, supporting our community is central to our ethos, and it was gratifying to witness a positive impact beyond our usual mission of fostering an active and healthy community."
