Impulse Leisure’s Managing Director, Karl Hayes, Achieves Prestigious Chartered Fellow Status with CIMSPA

At Impulse Leisure we are delighted to announce that Managing Director Karl Hayes has been awarded Chartered Fellow Status by the Chartered Institute for the Management of Sport and Physical Activity (CIMSPA). 

This prestigious recognition is the highest level of professional accreditation within the sector and highlights Karl’s outstanding leadership, strategic vision, and significant contributions to the sport and physical activity industry. 

Karl’s journey to achieving Chartered Fellow Status involved a rigorous and in-depth assessment process, during which he was required to demonstrate his expertise in strategic leadership, his ability to successfully implement organisational strategies, and his track record of driving meaningful change within the industry. This status is awarded only to individuals who have shown exceptional commitment, influence, and innovation in shaping the future of the sector. 

With a career spanning over 38 years, Karl has played a pivotal role in the development of community-focused leisure services, ensuring that fitness, health, and well-being remain accessible to all. As Managing Director at Impulse Leisure, he has been instrumental in the organisation’s continued growth, championing initiatives that support healthier lifestyles, improve customer experiences, and increase community engagement.
